Patagonia Route 40 Backcountry Touring
With a new itinerary for 2025, this popular backcountry adventure focuses on human powered ski touring and splitboarding, accessing some of the best backcountry terrain in northwest Patagonia. Route 40’s Road of the Seven Lakes is renowned for being one of the most scenic in Argentina and home to stellar off-the-beaten path backcountry access. Led by our team of IFMGA guides, you’ll discover beautiful tree runs, large alpine bowls, chutes and couloirs very few have had the privilege to explore.

Aomori to Iwate Backcountry Touring
Experience the best of Japan’s deep powder and traditional culture from the remote northern prefectures of Aomori to Iwate on this immersive, backcountry-focused ski touring trip. Led by a native English-speaking IFMGA-certified ski guide and supported by a bilingual (English/Japanese) assistant tail guide, this 9-day adventure blends world-class powder skiing with traditional culture, authentic cuisine, and relaxing soaks in natural hot springs. After big days in the backcountry, soak tired legs in natural hot springs and refuel on authentic Japanese cuisine at traditional mountain inns. Each evening, enjoy hosted group dinners with local craft beer and sake.
