Is This Trip For Me?
Designed for advanced skiers and riders with at least one season of backcountry touring experience. We do not expect to ride inbounds at the resorts unless weather delays our ability to leave the boundaries each morning. You should have experience on variable snow conditions including powder and firm snow. Expect days to range between 800-1,200m (2600-4000 feet) of uphill touring. The first half of the trip we will be touring and riding at altitude; 2,800-3,800m (9000-12500 feet) above sea level. Learn more about required ability levels.
Looking for something less ski touring intensive? Check out our new Backcountry Discovery trips or Splitboard Camp.

- Is there Wi-Fi in the lodge? Yes, all the lodges offer reliable Wi-Fi so you can stay connected.
- Where are the other guests from and what is riding ski level? Guests join us from around the world, mostly from North America, Europe, and Australia. Expect a mix of advanced to expert level riders who are comfortable on varied terrain up for the challenge of daily splitboarding.
- How much currency should I bring for extras like lunch etc.? While most of your expenses are covered, plan on around USD $20–$40 per day for lunches, snacks, and après-ski. Credit cards are accepted in most places, but having some Chilean pesos is handy for smaller stops.
